PRIVACY POLICY — KICK & CHASE

Kick & Chase ("we," "us," "our") provides fixtures, results, highlights, and fan engagement features for club and provincial rugby in the Western Cape, South Africa. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: If you create an account or sign in (via email/password or Google sign-in), we collect your email address and, if provided, your name and profile photo from Google.
Activity data: We collect the votes, reactions, comments, and shoutouts you post, and any content you submit (e.g. as a club administrator submitting fixtures, results, stats, news, or video highlights via a club edit link).
Technical data: We may log IP addresses and timestamps for security and moderation purposes (for example, in our admin audit log for club edit-link activity).
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
To operate voting, commenting, and club-submission features; to moderate content; to maintain the security and integrity of the platform; to communicate with you about your account if needed.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use Supabase for backend hosting, database, and authentication services. If you sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication per its own privacy policy. We embed publicly available YouTube videos for highlights; YouTube/Google may set cookies when you view embedded video content, governed by Google's privacy policy.
4. DATA RETENTION
We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 7).
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Kick & Chase is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player and club information discussed on the platform (e.g. rising talent features) is public sporting information, not information collected from or about a child user of the platform.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
